TOOELE, Utah—Sarah Cattaneo was the top qualifier for RSR Motorsports on Saturday morning, setting a fast time of 2:10.522 around Miller Motorsports Park in the No. 198 MINI Cooper S. The quick lap means she will start the race from the fourth spot on the grid.
Cattaneo is sharing the No. 198 MINI with Owen Trinkler. He and Randall Smalley have won the past two Street Tuner races in the car. Now, Cattaneo and Trinkler are teaming up to make another run at the podium.
With the change in driver lineup, Dicky Riegel is stepping into the No. 197 RSR Motorsports MINI Cooper S to co-drive with VJ Mirzayan. Smalley will share driving duties with BJ Zacharias in the No. 196 MINI Cooper S.
RSR Motorsports is pleased to be hosting several key members of MINI USA at Miller, including Jim McDowell, Vice President of MINI USA.
The 2.5-hour race begins at 4:45 MT on Saturday, September 11, and it is the final race of the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge season. RSR Motorsports hopes to finish the season in style by making their record three wins in a row.
